Content from the scope you select, with its metadata (author, dates, location) and the access rights defined in PostgreSQL. Changes are picked up by change notifications where PostgreSQL supports them, otherwise on the schedule you set (15 minutes to daily). Deletions and permission changes are applied on the next sync.
Access rights in PostgreSQL are mapped to workspace users (by email) and groups. A user can only retrieve items they could open in PostgreSQL itself. See Permissions & access control.
Events from PostgreSQL (new or updated items in scope) can start agent runs. See Automations & triggers.
Disconnecting removes the credential from the vault immediately. Documents synced from PostgreSQL are removed from knowledge bases within minutes and from backups as they rotate.
